Jay Weiss - Owner/Partner

Jay Weiss has more than 20 years of construction industry experience. He leads Weiss Contractors, a general contracting firm that he co-owns with his wife Dayna Weiss and that specializes in commercial construction projects. He is responsible for overseeing the firm's day-to-day operations including sales and marketing, financing and client project management. The success of Weiss Contractors can be attributed to the commitment of its ownership to accomplish quality projects on time, on budget, and with a satisfied client after the work is completed.

Jay Weiss has been involved in the construction industry his entire life. He started his career while working for his father at Ken Weiss Construction in Lawndale, California. Prior to co-founding Weiss Contractors Jay Weiss was a senior project manager for Los Angeles-based Bob Parrett Construction from 1993 to 1998. In 1998 Jay and Dayna Weiss were charged with expanding the company's operations to Texas and opened an office in Richardson. During that time, he oversaw the company's rapid growth in the Dallas Metroplex. Since acquiring Bob Parrett's Texas operation in 2002, Jay Weiss has earned a reputation for leading a firm that has a keen ability to work closely with clients to quickly meet their needs with workable and creative solutions.

Jay Weiss' dedication to quality craftsmanship and his solid business skills have been instrumental in the growth of the company. He prides himself on always completing client projects within budget and on schedule. Under his leadership the company has completed significant client projects which have included Mary Kay Cosmetics, Raytheon and L3 Communications.
